Nocturne Character and Ship Thoughts

Pretty much spoiler-free, but cut anyway, because it will likely be long, and nobody cares. Well, Megan might, but nobody else does XD; I know seventy hours in is possibly a big late in the game, but eh, whatever. It was on my mind last night after the fire alarm, though.

Hikawa: The one I've touched on before, I think. I find Hikawa interesting, and amusing, but I don't think I actually like him all that much aside from the amusement factor. He is incredibly sketchy, and I can see the possibility of Hikawashu because of this - Hikawa definatly gives off some pedophile vibes for me. That man is totally after some tight schoolboy ass there.

Isamu: So small and bitter ♥ I really like Isamu, in part because I think I can somewhat identify with his thoughts and feelings, and his Reason - total solitude is at times a very attractive option. I kind of want to give him a hug and food, I think. This is also my favorite Hitoshura ship, I think - it's the one that in my mind, kind of works. I sort of assume a previous close relationship pre-game, although that is for fanfic, I think.

Futomimi: A surprise favorite of mine, although I guess all things considered, not so much of surprise - I tend to lean towards the 'strong and silent' types (see Auron, Riff, Tseng, Hatori, etc.), and Futomimi is definately that. The (admitably tiny) fandom seems to not be too big on him, though, which kind of makes me sad. I don't actually ship Futoshu (or however you feel like abbreviating it),- I think Futomimi would look at the demi-fiend and see either the child his body is, or the higher, more generalized ideal of the demi-fiend. Either way, he has greater things to worry about.

Chiaki: I have a great deal of admiration for Chiaki's strength - for a little Japanese schoolgirl, she has balls. She lost my love when she went all Alexia, though, as well as what she did to the manikins (see above). She remains interesting, if nothing else, though.

Ms. Takao: I...actually don't feel very strongly either way about her. She seems nice, but otherwise she's kind of just there. The Aradia stuff was pretty freaky, though - like Silent Hill but more neon.

Hijiri: Token really nuts character, I think. It was kind of 'Okay, he looks like he's got something interesting hidden there' but it ended up being all 'My precious Amala terminals' and I was kind of put off.

Dante: Not much to say character-wise - it's DMC1 Dante. I do like Danteshu as a ship, if nothing else on principle, and because it's pretty. I was thinking, though, that writing Danteshu would take some work to justify it, although it may be my Dante in part - yeah, he'd fuck almost anything that moved, but he's got some standards. And he'd be more inclined to see the demi-fiend as human rather than demon, and thus as a kid. And DMC1!Dante is in his late twenties, which makes that age gap pretty big. But it could be made to work.

Lucifer: Delightfully evil. Also probably pretty damn good looking in his prime - I can see Lucifer/Hitoshura as some sort of horrible PWP. I think I like him even if he is totally using the demi-fiend to his own ends (everyone else kind of is, too, but Lucifer is sneaky about it).

EDIT: GIP :D
